OnePlus 13 camera leak highlights intriguing choice of sensors
If previous launch cycles are anything to go by, the OnePlus 13 won't launch until December of this year. Despite that, there have been multiple leaks about the smartphone, specifically its cameras. Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station predicted OnePlus would opt for three 50 MP camera sensors (wide-angle, ultra-wide plus telephoto) on its upcoming flagship. X leaker Yogesh Brar has now shed more light on its specific sensors.
Apparently, the OnePlus 13 will go all-in on Sony LYT hardware. It will reuse the OnePlus 12's 50 MP Sony LYT 808 sensor, which also features on the recently unveiled Realme GT 6. For the ultra-wide angle and telephoto sensors, it will use a 50 MP Sony LYT 600 found on the OnePlus Nord CE4, Realme GT 6T, Oppo Reno12 Pro and numerous others. While the information sits in line with earlier leaks, only time till tell if the configuration is accurate.
Other OnePlus 13 specs include a 2K 120 Hz AMOLED screen, a 5,400 mAh battery with 100 W fast charging, and notably, no wireless charging. So far, it seems to be an incremental upgrade over the OnePlus 12, but OnePlus should have a trick or two up its sleeve to make its next-gen flagship more lucrative.
