New flagship-series tablet, smartwatch and wireless earbuds to launch as well as smartphone during upcoming event
Earlier, OnePlus confirmed that the Nord 4 would herald "the return of a legendary design" in Summer 2024. The Android smartphone will be exclusive to the European and Indian market on its July 16, 2024 launch, during coordinated events at 15:30 CET and 18:30 IST.
However, OnePlus' other 3 new pieces of hardware are to join the flagship 12 on the North American market from 9:00 EDT on the same day.
Their teasers include the world's first hard evidence of the OnePlus Pad 2, a device that may or may not launch as the Pad Pro for global markets and is already backed to help the user achieve a "Life Made Smooth".
It will be joined by the Watch 2R, which, with its dual physical buttons and large round face, already looks suspiciously like a certain wearable also heretofore exclusive to the Chinese market even in its shadowy new teasers.
Accordingly, it will be a departure from the existing OnePlus Watch 2 in terms of design, although it seems it will have at least some of the same features given its new "It's Time to Move" tag-line.
On that note, the "Shh..eer Silence"- (and, thus, presumably ANC-) inducing Nord Buds 3 Pro will clearly debut the new round case hinted at in an earlier leak.
