Npad Ultra: Android 14 tablet comes with Widevine L1, Snapdragon SoC and dual SIM
The manufacturer N-One specializes in more affordable devices and is launching a new tablet on the market - the Npad Ultra. The model is shipped with Android 14 and, therefore, uses the latest operating system. The supply of updates is often a rather difficult issue for manufacturers of cheaper devices, so customers should not expect major OS updates. N-One does not use a MediaTek SoC, but a Snapdragon 685. The built-in RAM measures 8 GB, although this can be significantly expanded as usual with a type of swap file. The internal memory has a capacity of 128 GB: this is not too much, but memory expansion is possible.
With a screen diagonal of 12 inches, the Npad Ultra is relatively large and sports a 2,000 x 1,200 pixels resolution. Widevine L1 certification is advertised, meaning that content from Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, for example, can also be played in 1080p resolution. The four built-in speakers should provide an appealing sound. There is a main camera with a resolution of 13 MP, while the front camera has a resolution of 5 MP. The 9,200 mAh battery can be charged with 18 watts.
The network connection is not only possible via WiFi but also via up to two LTE networks. The device's case is only 7.5 millimeters thick. Right now the tablet can be pre-ordered from Geekbuying at a price of $243, with delivery starting in 20 days from Europe.
