Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 8.7 leak reveals renders and specifications of upcoming budget tablet

A new leak has revealed the renders and key specifications of the previously revealed Redmi Pad SE 8.7. This leak, courtesy of Sudhanshu Ambhore on Twitter, sheds light on the design, chipset, camera and connectivity of the upcoming budget tablet.

The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is expected to feature an 8.7-inch LCD display with an HD resolution (1340 x 800 pixels). Under the hood, it will sport a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage if the leak is to be believed.

In terms of cameras, the leak suggests an 8MP main sensor on the back and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is also packing a 6650mAh battery with support for 10W charging, as per the tweet.

While not confirmed, the leak also mentions features like a microSD card slot for expandable storage, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB-C port, and Dolby Atmos support. It's important to remember that this is a leak at the end of the day, and the final specifications and design could differ. We'll likely have to wait for an official announcement from Xiaomi to know for sure. As per previous reports, the budget tablet is slated for a July 29 release, which is only a week from now.
