PITAKA has announced that the latest additions to its MagEZ Case series are for Samsung's latest foldable flagship Android smartphones. The accessories are touted to reinforce the Galaxy Z Fold6 or Galaxy Z Flip6 IP-rated builds with aramid fibers in a range of woven colorways. They are also backed to prevent extra bulk with Slimboard 2.0 technology.

The Galaxy Z Flip6 has been thoroughly stress-tested and passed with flying colors; however, PITAKA claims to have something who want to protect their new Samsung clamshell smartphone with some extra Kevlar-like material.

The brand claims that, unlike other cases made of aramid, its MagEZ Case line is made with aramid fibers woven so as to create the visible patterns of colorways such as Sunset and Moonrise. Now, the resulting 3D Grip material has been made into cases that can fit the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6.

The MagEZ Case 5 series is also rated to be compatible with the foldables' wireless charging and reverse wireless charging functions. However, it should be noted that the Galaxy Z Flip6 version includes coverage for the front panel (with an appropriately-sized window for the cover display), whereas that for the Fold6 does not.

The MagEZ Case 5 series for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 are available for $59.99 on pitaka.com at the time of writing from now, with availability on Amazon projected to follow in August 2024. Meanwhile, their Z Fold5 counterpart costs $89.99 on the same platform.
