Overall, the OnePlus Nord CE4 5G is a reliable smartphone when it comes to being a daily driver. It offers a bright and vibrant display with a long battery life. The camera too does a good job at capturing images in daylight and indoor lighting conditions. When the phone could use improvement is in terms of low-light camera performance, audio system and offering longer software support. Barring that, Nord CE4 5G is definitely a phone worth considering.

While the OnePlus Nord CE 4 offers promising specifications and features, the device lacks camera performance. With growing competition in the mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 could shine in the market with attractive design, impressive performance, and lasting battery life. However, OnePlus has the ability to offer more to its users in this segment such as offering greater operating system upgrades than only 2 years and improved camera performance. Apart from the shortcomings, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is a great smartphone to consider under Rs.25000.

The OnePluls Nord CE4 offers a compressive package including top-notch performance in the segment, super-fast 100W fast charging with a larger battery, a smooth gaming experience, a bright 120 Hz AMOLED display, great camera performance, IP54 water-resistant design, stereo speakers, and a bunch of perks from OxygenOS 14. For those looking for a smartphone in the ₹25,000 price budget, the Nord CE4 is a great pick for this segment, the price starts at ₹24,999 for its 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant which can be grabbed with ongoing offers.

All in all: Should you buy the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Nord CE 4? In short, YES, if you’re looking for an all-rounder. Let’s define an all-round phone: an all-round smartphone fulfills all the requirements to be a good smartphone. Whether it’s the display, the performance, the camera, the software or the battery life, it meets all the criteria. It offers solid performance in all areas and doesn’t just excel in one area while not being so good in another. For example, I can categorize it better when I compare it to other smartphones. If you love design and software, choose the Nothing Phone (2a) to make your choice easier. If you want solid gaming performance, choose the Poco X6 Pro. If you want the best camera smartphone, choose the Realme 12 Pro Plus, or if you want a complete package of good smartphones, choose the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Nord CE 4.

The Nord CE4 has an elegant design, outstanding battery life, and the best charging tech in this segment. But it doesn't quite measure up to its immediate rivals in other areas; the screen doesn't get as bright, the hardware isn't as powerful, and the software isn't as refined . Combine that with a poor wide-angle lens and just two guaranteed platform updates, and the Nord CE4 just doesn't move the needle enough.

If you are looking for a reliable workhorse in a mid-range segment, the OnePlus Nord CE4 5G is very easy to recommend. But if you want a brilliant camera and display to go with it, this may not be the best option for you. OnePlus’ Nord series of mid-range or budget smartphones was launched back in 2020 but it doesn’t feel like it’s only been 4 years since OnePlus broke away from its enthusiast-centric approach to cater to the masses. While the OnePlus Nord smartphones are more mainstream and don’t have that premium or performance-centric aura, they have been hugely successful in the Indian market. We now have the fourth generation of the OnePlus Nord series, starting with the OnePlus Nord CE4, which has usually been the middle child in the Nord series, coming below the main Nord device, and falls above the “Nord Lite” smartphone in the previous two generations.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 perfectly embodies OnePlus’s “never settle” ethos. Whether it’s battery life, display quality, camera performance, or overall speed, this phone delivers without fail. While the build quality is undeniably robust, I personally find the marble design language less appealing. If design ranks high on your list of priorities, you might consider exploring alternatives like the Nothing Phone 2(a) or even the Samsung Galaxy A35. A few areas also need improvements. For instance, videos on the Nord CE4 weren’t at the optimum level, and two years of Android OS updates may not seem significant considering the competition. Perhaps these areas may see improvements next year. But if those things don’t matter too much, the Nord CE4 is a great choice for everyday users.

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 offers a lot of value for its price, especially if you're looking for a no-nonsense smartphone under Rs 30,000. With its sleek design, impressive display, powerful performance, long-lasting battery life, and decent camera capabilities, it ticks many boxes for a reliable daily driver. In terms of performance, the Nord CE 4 handles daily tasks smoothly. It also offers a clean Android experience without any bloatware. Battery life is another strong suit of the Nord CE 4, with its large 5500mAh battery lasting well over a day on a single charge. As for the camera, while it may not compete with flagship devices, the Nord CE 4 still delivers decent results, especially in daylight conditions. Portrait shots are detailed, and the selfie camera captures accurate skin tones. Overall, if you are in the market for a reliable smartphone that offers good performance, long battery life, and a decent camera without breaking the bank, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is definitely worth considering.

Priced at Rs 24,999 onwards, the OnePlus Nord CE4 delivers good performance, lasting battery life, and blazing-fast charging speeds. Boasting a decent display quality and an impressive speaker system, the smartphone emerges as a compelling choice for individuals seeking a performance-oriented device without exceeding their budget. However, its camera performance falls short in comparison to some of its counterparts that might not appeal to photography enthusiasts. Despite flaws, the Nord CE4 makes a solid contender in the mid-range smartphone market, offering a well-rounded package of features and functionality.

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 is a solid upgrade when compared to its predecessor the Nord CE3. It gets users a fresh design with an IP rating, a more powerful processor, decent camera performance and a bigger battery with faster charging. However when compared to the current competition, its pricing is worrisome. This is mainly because its only standout feature seems to be battery life and fast charging. I really wished that it performed better in the camera department. At the same price point, there's devices like the Poco X6 Pro (Review) which offers similar camera performance but is a lot better when it comes to gaming and raw performance, which is something the Nord's target audience (youth) will desire. There's also the Motorola Edge 40 (Review) which offers good performance, near-stock software experience, quality cameras, wireless charging and an IP68 rating at a now discounted Rs. 26,999.

The Nord CE4 is a somewhat unexciting launch from OnePlus. The truly standout feature is the 100W charging, which is mind-bendingly quick. The only other thing that stuck out to us was the quality of the main camera, which was impressive. That aside, the phone does little to win you over. It's mostly fine in every other area but has some notable issues that hold it back. The design could have been more interesting if the back didn't feel so plasticky. The display could have been better if it was brighter or better calibrated. The software experience would have been nicer if it wasn't kneecapped by a two major update policy. The Nord CE4 starts at INR 24,999. Considering the competition, such as the newly launched Nothing Phone (2a), the CE4 doesn't do enough to establish its dominance. If charging speed is your biggest criterion then the Nord CE4 might be the pick but if you value design, display, and software then the Phone (2a) is the superior choice.

OnePlus has been delivering its so-called ‘Core Experience' for years with its Nord CE series of phones. While this experience ensured a smooth and lag-free software experience for the most part, it often fell short in other areas. Despite offering an average camera for years, it still made sense as an overall package. But with some rather competitive smartphones like the Realme 12 Pro+ sliding into this sub Rs. 30,000 segment, how can OnePlus keep its CE relevant? Some of these answers may be available with its newest Nord CE 4.

OnePlus Nord CE4
OnePlus has carved a niche in the smartphone market by offering flagship-like experiences at a mid-range price point. Their Nord CE series embodies this philosophy, and the recently launched OnePlus Nord CE4 seems poised to continue the trend. The Nord CE4 boasts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, a significant upgrade over its predecessor. While not the top-of-the-line chip, it promises a noticeable performance jump compared to the previous generation. This translates to smoother multitasking, faster app loading times, and the ability to handle even moderately demanding games without breaking a sweat. The phone is offered in two RAM configurations: 8GB and 12GB. The higher RAM option caters to users who heavily multitask or enjoy resource-intensive games. Storage options range from 128GB to 256GB, allowing users to choose based on their app and file storage needs. The Nord CE4 features a large 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. This translates to a vivid and immersive viewing experience, perfect for watching movies, browsing social media, or playing games. The AMOLED technology ensures deep blacks, vibrant colors, and excellent contrast for a superior visual experience. The 90Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and navigating the interface feel smooth and fluid, enhancing the overall user experience.
The Nord CE4 boasts a large 5500mAh battery, a capacity that should comfortably last a full day on a single charge for most users. This is further amplified by OnePlus's signature 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology. With this technology, the phone can be charged from 1% to 100% in a staggering 29 minutes, according to OnePlus. The camera system on the Nord CE4 is a triple-lens setup featuring a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The 64MP main sensor promises good image quality in well-lit conditions, while the ultra-wide sensor offers versatility for capturing wider landscapes or group photos. The macro sensor allows for capturing close-up shots of small objects with good detail. The Nord CE4 follows the current design trends with a sleek and slim build. While specific weight details haven't been revealed yet, OnePlus phones are known for their lightweight construction. The phone is expected to come in a variety of color options, catering to different preferences. An in-display fingerprint sensor ensures a convenient way to unlock the device. The OnePlus Nord CE4 looks like a compelling option for users seeking a powerful and feature-rich mid-range phone. The combination of a powerful processor, a large and smooth display, and incredibly fast charging makes it a strong contender.

74.9%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
