While the OnePlus 12 may still be relatively new to the global market, OnePlus is already working on its successor, the OnePlus 13, and a new leak from typically reliable quarters has now revealed some important improvements the next-gen flagship will deliver.
As shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, OnePlus is apparently set to introduce a new rear camera housing design on the OnePlus 13. The company launched the OnePlus 11 with the now-recognizable round camera housing back in 2022 and continued with a similar design language on the OnePlus 12. That will change with the OnePlus 13, however, although it's unknown what the new design will be.
Reportedly, the OnePlus 13 is currently being tested with a 2K OLED, and is expected to deliver improved camera hardware at least on par with Pro models from rival companies, with upgrades to its main 50 MP camera and periscope zoom snapper. As expected, the OnePlus 13 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and is tipped to be among the first devices to launch with the Qualcomm chipset, potentially even beating the Xiaomi 15 series to the punch.
