There have been plenty of leaks about the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra in the last few weeks. In summary, many have come from Evan Blass, who has also provided equivalent images of the Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro, the Galaxy Z Flip6 and the Galaxy Z Fold6. Now, leaker @billbil_kun has weighed in with a complete datasheet for Samsung's next smartwatches, which we have reproduced below.
Ultimately, the details contained below are in line with previous leaks. For example, the datasheet shows two Galaxy Watch7 models distinguished by 40 mm and 44mm case sizes. Predictably, Samsung also separates the pair with different battery capacities, 300 mAh and 425 mAh this year, respectively. By contrast, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is listed as featuring a single 47 mm size, within which Samsung has included a 590 mAh battery.
While the Galaxy Watch Ultra will only match the battery capacity of the older Galaxy Watch5 Pro (curr. $282.99 on Amazon), a new Exynos W1000 chipset should help deliver battery life improvements. Unfortunately, Samsung's flagship smartwatch will still remain waterproof up to 50 metres, despite being advertised as water resistant to 10 ATM. Currently, @billbil_kun expects Samsung's next smartwatches to launch in Europe at the following price points:
- Galaxy Watch7 (40 mm / Bluetooth): €319
- Galaxy Watch7 (44 mm / Bluetooth): €349
- Galaxy Watch7 (40 mm / Bluetooth / LTE): €369
- Galaxy Watch7 (44 mm / Bluetooth / LTE): €399
- Galaxy Watch Ultra (47 mm / Bluetooth / LTE): €699
