New Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 leaks show thinner redesign and three colour options
Officially, the Galaxy Z Fold5 (curr. $1,399.99 on Amazon) remains Samsung's current Galaxy Z Fold device. However, there has been plenty of evidence that the company is days away from releasing a successor. On the one hand, Samsung has now confirmed that it will host its next Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10, full details of which we have discussed in an earlier article.
On the other hand, leakers like @MysteryLupin and Passionategeekz have shared what appear to be official render images of the Galaxy Z Fold5's replacement, which we have embedded below. In the process, the pair have confirmed earlier expectations, including that the Galaxy Z Fold6 will launch with a modest redesign compared to the Galaxy Z Fold5. In short, the Galaxy Z Fold6 pictured below has a squarer form factor than its predecessor, with less rounded edges to match.
As a result, this year's Galaxy Z Fold is closer in execution to the Vivo X Fold3 series than last year's model. So far, three Galaxy Z Fold6 colours have leaked, all courtesy of Passionategeekz. Other options are expected to land in one form or another though, even if they are sold as Samsung Online Exclusives. Regardless, @MysteryLupin has shared equivalent images of the handset's official cases too, which include an updated Slim S Pen Case and a new option with a small built-in stand. Incidentally, another source has already shared an almost complete spec sheet for the device, which we have covered separately.
