Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra launches in exclusive "John Wick" special edition
Caviar is known for its "luxury" redesigns of smartphones, but the latest version of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is exclusive even by Caviar standards, as the company is only producing one Galaxy S25 Ultra "Viper".
The smartphone has a PVD-coated titanium frame and a back that is adorned with the infamous pistol of action movie hero John Wick. There is an hourglass in the pistol grip, which is supposed to actually work, although Caviar has not confirmed what unit of time it measures. Some elements are coated with 24-carat gold, giving the Galaxy S25 Ultra a premium appearance. As usual with Caviar, wireless charging is not expected to longer work due to the thick metal back.
Otherwise, everything else remains unchanged: the "Viper" version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy and a 6.9-inch, 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED panel with a resolution of 3,120 x 1,440 and a peak HDR brightness of 2,600 nits. Samsung has installed a 200 MP f/1.7 main camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 50 MP f/1.9 ultra-wide-angle camera, a 10 MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with 3x zoom and a 50 MP f/3.4 periscope telephoto camera with 5x zoom.
