A good number of Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge leaks have surfaced recently, and in one of the videos that showcased the camera capabilities of the phone, the Pixel 9a appeared. Google is expected to launch this affordable phone sometime in March, and it will be going against Samsung's upcoming phone and the iPhone 16e.
Getting back to the unexpected appearance of the Pixel 9a in one of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge leaks, the video shows the back of the phone, and the design shown matches the render leaks that have surfaced recently. That is, it shows the camera module being almost flush with the back, which is something that the recent reports about the device have shared.
The video also shows the Pixel 9a featuring chamfered edges between the back and the side rail, and if this is actually not a prototype device, it seems that the phone will indeed ditch the iconic horizontal camera island that Google has been sticking to with its past A-series smartphones.
Of course, without the contrasty camera island, the back does appear to be a bit plain, but given that it's allowing the camera module to stay flush, it's a good thing. Nothing much about the Pixel 9a has been revealed in the now-deleted Galaxy S25 Edge camera sample video, but recent leaks have already shared the possible core specs of this Google device.
In case you're not caught up, the Pixel 9a is expected to feature the same Tensor G4 that powers the other phones of the series. It will reportedly have a 48 MP primary camera on the back, which will be paired with a 13 MP ultrawide. Under the hood, there will seemingly be a 5,100 mAh battery with 23 W fast charging support (30 W Anker Zolo power bank curr. $16.09 on Amazon). As for the front, reports have suggested that the device will sport a 6.3-inch screen with a 13 MP selfie shooter.
