In our hands-on review, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini proves to be an uncompromising smartphone with compact dimensions. The smallest smartphone in the X200 series with its MediaTek Dimensity 9400 achieves very strong runtimes in our battery life tests. In contrast to a Galaxy S24 (4,000 mAh), the mini smartphone has a significantly larger 5,700 mAh battery, which can be charged quickly with up to 90 watts via the USB-C port.
The excellent runtimes of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini can be seen in our adjusted display brightness (150 cd/m²) test, where the 6.31-inch phone runs for roughly a third longer than the Galaxy S24.
The small Vivo phone has a flagship camera
A real feature highlight of the Vivo X200 Pro Mini is the camera system on the back. The bright main camera with a Sony LYT-818 and f/1.57 lens in particular delivers a lot of detail and high dynamics in our test photos. Thanks to the comparatively large 1/1.28-inch sensor, the mini model is also impressive when taking pictures in less favorable lighting conditions. By comparison, the Galaxy S24 has a significantly smaller 1/1.56-inch sensor installed.
However, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini is not without its weaknesses and does not outperform the Galaxy S24 in every regard. Read our review to find out exactly what and where these weaknesses are.
