A new leak from Korea has now revealed an exact launch date for the fourth model in the Galaxy S25 series—the Galaxy S25 Edge. The phone is reportedly set to be launched in mid-April, with wide availability tipped for May.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge as a surprise at Unpacked last month. While the company shared next to nothing about the design-focused phone at the event, that's set to change, with a new leak now revealing a date for the phone's actual launch.

As reported by Korean outlet Sedaily, Samsung has scheduled the Galaxy S25 Edge to launch in April. On April 16, to be exact. As such, a global launch can be expected on April 16 or 17, based on timezone differences. Interestingly, though, the launch event is tipped to be an entirely digital affair, with Samsung having already showcased the phone in the flesh earlier this year.

Supposedly, while the Galaxy S25 Edge will launch officially in April, it won't go on sale till May—closely corroborating prior leaks on the phone's availability. Stock is expected to be limited, however, with the initial production run of the S25 Edge seemingly pegged at 40,000 units, or less than 1% of Samsung's monthly smartphone manufacturing volume.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is tipped to be available in three colors: Black, Silver, and Light Blue. A thickness of around 6.4mm is mooted, with pricing expected to be set somewhere around the Galaxy S25 Plus's MSRP.
