Xiaomi has just announced the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which goes toe-to-toe with flagships like the iPhone 16 Pro Max and Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,131.99 on Amazon). However, today's launch only applies in China, where the device is already available to pre-order starting at CNY 6,499 (~$893).
Based on current expectations, Xiaomi should be bringing the Xiaomi 15 Ultra to Europe next week to mark the device's global release. Based on a leaked specification sheet, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will arrive unchanged for its global release, unlike the Xiaomi 15. However, the device will probably be considerably more expensive outside Xiaomi's home market.
If the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is anything to go by, then Xiaomi will charge upwards of €1,500 (~$1,562) for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra globally. By contrast, Giztop is already offering Xiaomi's latest flagship globally for as low as $1,099. Alternatively, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra can currently be picked up in multiple memory congfigurations, some of which may not make it outside China.
Likewise, Giztop is selling the device in its four Chinese launch colour options, compared to the two that Xiaomi will likely provide globally. Please note that these units will arrive running Chinese software, not the global version of HyperOS. As a result, certain Western apps and services may not work, even if Google Mobile Services and Google Play Store function as expected. At the time of publication, Giztop hopes to begin shipping Xiaomi 15 Ultra pre-orders on March 3.
