Samsung is expected to announce successors to 2023's Galaxy Tab S9 FE series this year. Just like their predecessors, there will be two models — the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ — and they will launch as more affordable models to the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. While there's no info on when they will be announced, a leak has revealed a few key details of the upcoming Android tablets.
The leak, which reveals details of the tablets' display sizes, RAM, and storage, was posted online by Roland Quandt on Bluesky. According to him, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE will retain the 10.9'' screen size of its predecessor. However, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ will get a bigger display — a 13.1'' screen, up from the 12.4'' display of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.
The larger display of the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ will make it bigger than the Galaxy Tab S10+ which has a 12.4'' screen but still places it under the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra which has a massive 14.6'' display. Unfortunately, it isn't stated if the new Fan Edition tablets will have an AMOLED display or stick to LCD like the previous generation.
The source has also revealed that both the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. While that isn't different for the larger model, it is an upgrade for the non-plus model as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE (curr. available for $279.72 on Amazon) has a max RAM of 8GB.
There are still lots of unknowns but an earlier leak already revealed the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series will be powered by the Exynos 1580, an octa-core processor with four Cortex-A720 cores and four Cortex-A520 cores. It also has an RDNA-based Xclipse 540 GPU.
It is also expected that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series will have stylus support, optional 5G, and IP68 dust and water resistance. It also won't be surprising if Samsung increases the duration of software support from 4 years to 6 years.
