The entire Samsung Galaxy S26 series will have thinner screen edges than their S25 series predecessors, according to a reliable leaker. Almost a year before the launch of the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra, a comparison image purportedly shows just how wide the screen edges of the two flagships will be.

Leaker @PandaFlashPro, who leaked correct information about the Samsung Galaxy S25 series several times last year, has just come across initial information about the screen edges of the Galaxy S26 series. The comparison image embedded below supposedly shows the thinner bezels of the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra well in advance before the smartphones are expected to be officially unveiled in January 2026.

While the metal frame appears unchanged, the black edges around the display are expected to be significantly narrower. It is important to note that this leak only refers to the look of the front of the smartphones; it remains unclear whether Samsung will change the rest of the design of the devices. The same leaker recently claimed that none of the models in the Galaxy S26 series will have a selfie camera integrated invisibly into the display like the RedMagic 10 Pro. Instead, he says, an improved ultrasonic fingerprint sensor will be integrated directly into the screen.

According to previous rumors, the Galaxy S26 series will switch to more advanced silicon-carbon batteries, but these will not be as large as flagships with 6,000 mAh or 7,000 mAh batteries - current prototypes are said to have a maximum capacity of 5,500 mAh. There are also rumors about a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera in the style of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, but such rumors long before the official launch should be viewed with caution.
