The Xiaomi 15 has now arrived globally, over four months after its initial debut in China. Launching alongside the Xiaomi 15 Ultra at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, the Xiaomi 15 is one of the smallest Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphones out there after Samsung's Galaxy S25 (curr. $799.99 on Amazon).
Specifically, the Xiaomi 15 comes in at 152.3 x 71.2 x 8.08 mm and 191 g in Black, Green, White and Liquid Silver colourways. The compact flagship features IP68 water resistance too, which Xiaomi has complemented with its Shield Glass technology. Incidentally, the latter protects a 6.36-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 1.5K with a 1-120 Hz variable refresh rate. The panel is also said to deliver up to 3,200 nits (25% APL) and supports DC dimming instead of PWM.
Moreover, Xiaomi integrates LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage, as well as Bluetooth 6.0 and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Unfortunately, pre-release rumours were accurate insofar as suggesting that the global version of the Xiaomi 15 would ship with a smaller 5,240 mAh battery than its Chinese counterpart. 50 W wireless and 90 W wired charging returns though with the following camera hardware:
- Primary: 50 MP, Light Fusion 900, 1/1.31-inch optical format, f/1.62 aperture, OIS
- Telephoto: 50 MP, 60 mm equivalent focal length, f/2.0 aperture, OIS
- Ultra-wide-angle: 50 MP, 14 mm equivalent focal length, 115-degree FoV, f/2.2 aperture
- Front-facing: 32 MP, f/2.0 aperture
The Xiaomi 15 starts at €999 (~$1,037) in the Eurozone with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Alternatively, the handset is available with 512 GB of storage for €100 more, albeit with the same amount of RAM. Xiaomi adds that both configurations will ship with a Projector L1 when ordered before March 16, until stocks last. Also, the company will throw in a Watch S4 smartwatch with pre-orders of the 512 GB variant.
