Winfuture has released several product images showcasing two models in the Motorola Edge 60 lineup, likely the Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro. Not only do the two phones share a very similar design, but the Edge 60 Pro also bears a strong resemblance to the Edge 50 Pro.
Motorola has notably revamped the raised camera module. Rather than having camera holes with different diameters, it now features four “lenses” of the same size, one of which is an LED flash. The more expensive Pro model appears to have a slightly more curved display on the left and right edges and be outfitted with a dedicated shutter button on the left side.
The frame is reportedly made of plastic instead of metal, possibly to reduce production costs. The markings on the Edge 60’s camera module indicate that the phone boasts a 50 MP main shooter equipped with a Sony Lytia sensor, optical image stabilisation (OIS), and a lens with a 35 mm-equivalent focal length of 24 mm. There is also an ultrawide lens with an equivalent focal length of 12 mm.
Featuring just a 2 MP sensor, the third camera on the non-Pro model is probably more decorative in nature. In contrast, the Edge 60 Pro packs a telephoto camera with a focal length of 73 mm, offering roughly 3x optical zoom. Motorola markets this camera system as a “Super Zoom” camera. The Motorola Edge 60 series is expected to launch in the coming weeks. However, the company hasn’t provided any further details concerning specifications, pricing or launch dates.
