Vivo is expected to release the X200 Ultra later this year as an alternative to the likes of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,219 on Amazon). While the X200 Ultra is not anticipated to arrive until the spring at the earliest, Vivo has now expanded its mid-range range with the T4x 5G, which has a few tricks up its sleeve.
For one, Vivo installs a 120 Hz IPS panel that peaks at 1,050 nits while outputting at 1080p and measuring 6.72-inches across. Incidentally, the flat display protects an 8 MP front-facing camera, which Vivo complements with 50 MP primary and 2 MP depth rear-facing cameras. As the image below shows, these two cameras sit next to an LED ring that will flash when a new notification arrives.
The T4x 5G also contains a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which leverages four ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores, four Cortex-A55 CPU cores and a Mali-G615 MP2 GPU. Arguably, the biggest star of the show is a 6,500 mAh battery that the T4x 5G can recharge at 44 W. Although this capacity outstrips many mid-range competitors, the T4x 5G tips the scales at just 204 g with an 8.1 mm overall thickness.
The Vivo T4x 5G starts at INR 13,999 (~$161) in India with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage. Alternatively, the handset is available for INR 16,999 (~$196) with twice as much storage and 8 GB of RAM. Vivo has not revealed yet whether the T4x 5G will be sold outside India.
