MagyarSamsung: One UI 7 will be the biggest update in Galaxy history according to leaker, One UI 6.1.1 features coming to these phones
The newest Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will already be shipped with One UI 7 but the Android 15 update is expected to be released on some of the current Galaxy phones beforehand after Google is expected to unveil the final version of its operating system in August. According to the usually very reliable leaker Ice Universe (see below), a substantial upgrade is to be expected, which will not only bring the Android 15 innovations, but also a major interface redesign.
The leaker even calls it potentially the most changed update in One UI history and mentions a new icon design that will soon be rolled out on Galaxy phones and tablets, earlier rumors also pointed to vertical app drawers, animations could be another field of activity for the South Koreans, especially since criticism has repeatedly arisen in this regard in the past. The first Samsung phones that could benefit from OneUI 7 are presumably Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra (available here on Amazon).

One UI 6.1.1 features coming soon to Galaxy S24 and co.
But before that, One UI 6.1.1 is still on the program, which has so far been exclusively available on the new foldables Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 to date. Samsung has now officially confirmed in the South Korean community which of the new Galaxy AI features and functions will also land on older Galaxy flagships, here is a brief overview:
- The exclusive Galaxy Z Flip6 features "Auto Zoom" and "Flex Camcorder" will soon be available on the Galaxy Z Flip5.
- The new Galaxy AI image gallery features "Portrait Studio", "Sketch to Image" and "Live Effect" are also coming to Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy S22-series, Galaxy S23-series, Galaxy S24-series, Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9-series and Galaxy Tab S8-series.
- The "Motion Clipper" editor function is also coming to Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy S22-series, Galaxy S23-series, Galaxy S24-series, Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9-series and Galaxy Tab S8-series.
- The new "Astro Portrait" feature in Expert RAW will soon be available on the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series.
- "DNG Editing" in the Raw Editor will soon be available on Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy S22-series, Galaxy S23-series, Galaxy S24-series, Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S9-series and Galaxy Tab S8-series.
