Multiple sources indicate that Samsung's One UI 7.0 software update has been delayed. Initially supposed to debut today (July 29), the software will now be available to Galaxy S24 users at a later date.

Those looking forward to try out Samsung's new Android fork may have to wait a bit longer. SamMobiles and Max Jambor have separately confirmed that the One UI 7.0 beta, which was slated to arrive today, has been pushed back by an unspecified amount of time. The delay comes at an interesting time when Apple users are finally getting their hands on Apple Intelligence features via the iOS 1.8 beta.

Apparently, two other leakers, @chunvn8888 (who initially posted a heap of One UI 7.0 screenshots) and Ice Universe, have tested One UI 7.0 and deemed it to be buggy. Based on earlier leaks, the update is slated to bring forth a ton of visual changes, many of which are inspired from iOS 18. And no, Dymamic Island won't be one of them.

Like previous updates, One UI 7.0 could also bring many under-the-hood changes that will only be confirmed once the software launches. Beta software is usually unstable and we wouldn't recommend anyone installing it on their daily drivers. If you want to wait for the final release, you may have to wait until October when Samsung officially unveils it.
