The 128 GB Google Pixel 7 is up for grabs at Amazon-owned Woot for just $349.99, nearly a $250 discount from what the 2022 Android flagship usually retails for. You can also get the 256 GB variant at $379.99, which is a hefty $319.01 cut from the regular price.

While the Google Pixel 9 series is just around the corner, the Google Pixel 7 is still a great pick for those who don't want the latest and the greatest. The good part is that the 2022 flagship is now down to just $349.99 for the 128 GB variant, while the 256 GB can be purchased for $379.99 at Amazon-owned Woot. Note that this deal will remain active till August 16 or until it's all sold out.

This 2022 flagship won't be winning any performance benchmarks. The Tensor G2 of the Pixel 7 isn't as powerful as the Snapdragon or Dimensity alternatives. It's also not as good as the Tensor G3 found inside the Pixel 8 series, and the Tensor G4 of the upcoming Pixel 9 lineup is expected to be a much better performer.

However, some of the other aspects of the Google Pixel 7 are still flagship-grade. As we noted in our review, the 6.3-inch OLED display of the Android phone is color-accurate and can get reasonably bright, making outdoor viewing comfortable. But, yes, the 90 Hz refresh rate is a negative factor of the screen. After all, even the recent mid-range smartphones have started to feature 120 Hz displays.

We were also impressed with the build quality of the Google Pixel 7. It features Gorilla Glass Victus on both the front and the back, an aluminum frame, and an IP68 rating. Even the design isn't far off compared to the Google Pixel 8 (128 GB curr. $549 on Amazon), and the Pixel 9 also looks pretty similar.

Another notable aspect is the cameras. Even though it's a 2022 flagship, the Google Pixel 7 still holds the 1st position in DxOMark's high-end camera ranking. Other highlights include guaranteed software updates till October 2027, decent-sounding speakers, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C. You can better understand how the smartphone has aged by watching the video attached below.
