Deal | Samsung Tab S6 Lite with S Pen support gets biggest price cut ever on Amazon

Samsung's Tab S6 Lite is a decent tablet computer for budget-conscious users with modest performance demands. Originally released in 2020, the Tab S6 Lite was refreshed in 2022, and then recently in 2024 as well. Thanks to a recent price cut on Amazon, the tablet can now be had for just $209, its lowest ever. 

To be clear, the Tab S6 Lite is far from a high-end tablet, and can only manage lightweight day-to-day tasks thanks to its Exynos 1280 SoC, which is itself over two years old at this point. For comparison, this SoC is only slightly faster than Apple's A11 Bionic, which was released almost seven years ago. However, basic web browsing, entertainment, and occasional gaming should not be a hassle for this device, although the paltry 4 GB of memory will limit multi-tasking capabilities.

Considering the price, however, the Tab S6 Lite is an excellent choice for students. The included S Pen comes in handy for note-taking, and the 7,040 mAh battery allows for decently long runtimes. In our in-depth testing, the tablet lasted 12 hours and 34 minutes, which is decent but not particularly great considering the competition.

The 1200p LCD is perfectly decent for most people, and considering the price point, expecting higher resolutions or refresh rates would be a stretch. For day-to-day tasks such as web browsing, email, and content consumption, users will hardly find anything to complain about, and the same can be said about the Tab S6 Lite's speakers as well.

All in all, the Tab S6 Lite hardly features anything to write home about. However, the tablet is more than sufficient for people with modest demands, especially students, which is further accentuated by its excellent build quality and S Pen support. Thanks to the ongoing sale on Amazon, the Tab S6 Lite at $209 is easier to recommend than ever before.
