Merely two days before Galaxy Unpacked 2024 kicks off, pricing for the Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro has leaked online. A retail listing was spotted by tipster @Kuma_Sleepy on a South Korean website, and as per the screenshot shared on X (formerly Twitter), Samsung hasn't really stepped up the price at all with regard to the Galaxy Buds2 and Buds2 Pro, contrary to what previous leaks had indicated. In the leaked image, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro were listed on the webpage for KRW 296,700 (roughly $214 at the time of writing), whereas its lower-specced sibling had a price of KRW 203,700 (~$147).
Pricing might be the only common factor here; Samsung is planning to introduce a whole new design for the Buds3 (and the Pros) bundled with some new features. Past leaks have revealed pretty much all there is to know about the Galaxy Buds3 & Buds3 Pro. The most notable change has to be the design, with the AirPod-like stem making an appearance for the first time in Samsung's design catalog. The earbuds will most likely support a pinch or squeeze gesture for controlling media playback, and the stems will have touch controls as well. One of the many key upgrades is rumoured to be a higher-quality wireless codec, which could give it an edge in the market. In the leaked screenshot, two variants of the Buds3 are visible without the silicone tip - one black and one white. The Buds3 Pro on the other hand do feature a silicone tip, and are listed in a single white color. Previously leaked images of the earbuds are available here.
Samsung is also scheduled to release the Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Galaxy Watch 7 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 on July 10. Most details are out in the open, and the official launch is right around the corner, meaning customers won't have to wait too long.
