It's complicated. Dell competes in the business laptop market with AMD CPUs with a rather small lineup. Will the single Dell Latitude model with Ryzen, the Dell Latitude 14 5495, be able to compete with well-known competitors like the Lenovo ThinkPad A485 and the HP EliteBook 745 G5? In some ways it can compete, but our review also uncovered some weaknesses.

Outmanoeuvred. ASUS has packed powerful hardware into a sleek and compact case, which is impressive on the face of it. Unfortunately, this feat cannot be done without compromising somewhere, which we tackle in this review. The UX433FN shares many of its features with its siblings that we have already reviewed like its IPS screen, NVMe SSD, dual-channel RAM and backlit keyboard. Sadly, ASUS equips this model with a reflective display too.

Good display, but far too slow. The 11.6-inch Ematic offers a lot on paper, but it doesn't have the speed to keep up with even the most simplest of tasks like browsing, 1080p streaming, or even word processing. You're better off investing that $200 elsewhere.

Held back on purpose? In addition to the A series, Lenovo is also offering its more affordable E series with AMD processors. We tested how the ThinkPad fares against the Intel competition and also evaluated whether a configuration with dual-channel RAM brings any advantages. A grand for a gram. The Gram 14 is a few hundred grams lighter than the XPS 13 while having a larger 14-inch display. In fact, it's one of the lightest Ultrabooks in its size class with an Intel Core U-series CPU. So, what's the catch?

Imbalanced. As a somewhat smaller player, Fujitsu is facing an uphill battle in the mobile workstation market. Can Fujitsu establish its Celsius H780 as a credible competitor against the likes of Dell, HP and Lenovo? That may be difficult, since the Fujitsu Celsius H780 revealed plenty of weaknesses in our comprehensive review.

Four cores without a fan. Asus packs the energy-saving Intel Pentium Silver N500 quad-core processor into a small 11.6-inch laptop. In addition, there are four GB of RAM and a usable battery, which make the device a small and affordable companion for everyday life. In our review we clarify what users may expect from the small laptop with a price tag of less than 350 Euros (~$392).

Second wind. The thinnest 15.6-inch laptop with RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics is a visual delight. For $2500, however, the Asus Zephyrus S GX531 could have at least included per-key RGB lighting and Thunderbolt 3.

Extreme durability. The Latitude 7424 Rugged Extreme is an absolute tank. The Latitude 7424 wraps a competent computer in a dust-tight and water-resistant shell that can take a beating without much fuss. However, this durability comes at a high cost - weight and size.

Good-looking. The brand-new GS75 not only belongs to the flattest gaming laptops on the market but also to the best-looking ones. In our detailed review, you'll find out if the 17-incher can also shine under the hood.

Compact gamer. Thanks to its Core i7-8750H CPU and its GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU all games should run smoothly on the Neo's matte 15.6-inch display. Other highlights include a mechanical keyboard, a fast SSD, and a 144 Hz panel. In return, the notebook lacks modern connectivity features such as Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.1 Gen 2.

Full GPU power? MSI also offers its slim GE75 Raider with the high-end GeForce RTX 2080 and does not use the Max-Q version. We check the performance and see if the upgrade is worth the money.
