Acer's new series of XV3 gaming monitors offer modern refresh rates of up to 240Hz and response times of as low as 1 millisecond. They are also G-SYNC ready with the variable refresh rate (VRR) necessary to handle either the RTX or GTX 10-series of graphic cards. These new IPS panels come in either 24.5- or 27-inch variants, and will start at €249 (about US$275).

Acer will debut its new XV3 series of monitors at IFA 2019. They offer what may be expected of such gaming peripherals at this show, which include 144 to 240 hertz (Hz) refresh rates and 1 millisecond gray-to-gray response times. They also come prepared for rigs that incorporate new NVIDIA graphics cards.

These monitors have also been developed to help their owners withstand prolonged bouts of usage. This is delivered through Acer VisionCare technology. It includes features with names such as Flickerless, BlueLightShield, ComfyView and Low-Dimming, which will hopefully match up with what is said on these tins.

Acer also claims that these monitors have been outfitted with "Fast Liquid Crystals" and its new Agile Splendor technology. This may bring the XV3's sRGB color-space accuracy up to as much as 99%. The new Nitro panels also conform to the DisplayHDR 400 standard. They come in 4 variants, which start with the 24.5 inch 144Hz Nitro XV253QP. This base model, along with the 240Hz XV253QX (which is also a 24.5-inch panel) and 27-inch XV273X, are FHD panels.

The Nitro XV273US, on the other hand, is the 27-inch 4K flagship of this line-up. Its refresh rate can be overclocked to 165Hz and will launch for €499 (about US$580). The XV253QP, QX and 273 will cost €249 ($275), €349 ($385) and €399 ($440) respectively.
