Asus’ new ProArt StudioBook series is headed by a flagship device with hardware that would please any creative seeking a powerful workstation to assist with their workflow. The ProArt StudioBook One (W590) is fitted with an Intel Core i9-9980HK CPU and Nvidia Quadro RTX 6000 GPU to help its manufacturer boast about it being the most graphically-powerful laptop available. Along with those vital components, the laptop also has 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSD crammed inside its case. Unsurprisingly, the W590 has a top-notch 15.6-inch 4K display that is both Pantone-validated and covers 100% AdobeRGB. The 120 Hz panel even features Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to protect it from wear and tear.
Joining the high-specced W590 SKU is the ProArt StudioBook Pro X (W730). Although this laptop “only” comes with up to a Quadro RTX 5000 GPU and either an Intel Xeon E-2276M or Core i7-9750H processor, it also sports an eye-catching 17-inch NanoEdge display with narrow bezels and a secondary display in the form of Asus’ ScreenPad 2.0. So creatives can choose either the laptop with the most power with the ProArt StudioBook One or they can opt for the larger laptop with diverse functionality with the ProArt StudioBook Pro X.
The series is complemented by the ProArt StudioBook Pro 17 (W700), ProArt StudioBook Pro 15 (W500), ProArt StudioBook 17 (H700), and the ProArt StudioBook 15 (H500). Asus will offer the Pro 17 (W700) and Pro 15 (W500) laptops with up to an Nvidia Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q and Quadro RTX 5000 Max-Q, respectively. The lower-end H700 and H500 SKUs will give users the opportunity to create with the assistance of up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU.
Prices for the new ProArt StudioBook laptops have yet to be announced, however, Asus has provided expected availability for each model. The StudioBook Pro X (W730) and Pro 17 (W700) should be the first to arrive, from Q4 2019. The other three devices, including the mighty Asus ProArt StudioBook One, should be available from Q1 2020.
