iQOO has made its latest top-end BMW M Motorsport-branded smartphone official today, aiming for the front of the line with cutting-edge LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage to go with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 - which is augmented in turn with a second-gen ISP. The 11 Pro also has second-gen 200W charging, rated to charge its battery to 100% in as little as 10 minutes.

Audeze today announced its latest gaming headset, the Maxwell. The closed-back headset can be used wired or wirelessly (via Bluetooth 5.3) and features 90 mm planar magnetic drivers. The microphone is a detachable cardioid designed by Shure.

The Arduboy Mini is a compact gaming handheld for hobbyists looking to get their teeth stuck into a new project. Offered with a small OLED display and several gamepad buttons, the Arduboy Mini can access over 300 games and is available to back on Kickstarter for US$29.

Qualcomm touts its new Compact Macro 5G RAN Platform as a way to boost uptake of mmWave 5G, which may be held back at present by the costs involved in establishing a network based on that type of mobile data, not the least is the risk of needing a high concentration of base stations to cover a given area. The new platform is rated to reduce them "significantly" with an increase in range of over 200% compared to its predecessor.

The Sipeed M1s DOCK is another RISC-V-based single-board computer (SBC) that runs RTOS or Linux-based software. Sipeed sells the M1s DOCK for US$11 or as the M1s module for US$7 without a carrier board.

Lenovo has finally started selling the YOGA Paper in China. While the company has not confirmed a global release date, the device’s Chinese pricing of CNY 2,699 (~US$390) suggests that the Lenovo YOGA Paper would be more expensive than most E-Readers if it ever reached global audiences.

PINE64 is now selling the PineBuds Pro, its open-source and custom firmware-supporting TWS earbuds. Currently available for US$69.99, the PineBuds Pro features 6 mm drivers, six microphones and ANC technology that is said to outperform the equivalent in the Apple AirPods Pro 2.

Cool Pi has introduced the Cool Pi 4 Model B, a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B copycat. Offered up with the same form factor as the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, the Cool Pi 4 Model B utilises the Rockchip RK3588S, with up to 16 GB of LDPDR4 RAM and 128 GB of eMMC flash storage. The Cool Pi 4 Model B has a Micro HDMI 2.1 port too, among other features.

Soldered Electronics has brought a new ePaper display to Kickstarter. Dubbed the Inkplate 2, the Arduino-compatible board contains a 2.13-inch and triple-colour ePaper panel sat atop of an Espressif ESP32 microcontroller. The Inkplate 2 is available to back now for US$35.

HMD Global is now selling the Nokia T21 after introducing the tablet in September at IFA 2022. While the tablet remains unchanged from its debut over three months ago, HMD Global has decided to raise prices, with the Nokia T21 no longer starting at €219.

ZTE has made the Aerospace Edition of its Axon 40 Ultra official today. The OEM has aimed for the stratosphere with this new version of its flagship Android smartphone by combining a re-styled ceramic rear panel with its existing third-gen under-display selfie camera. It can be ordered with up to 18GB of RAM, although this will push its price over US$1,000 in its native China.

According to new reports, Realme plans to bring two of its new wearables to Europe next month. Supposedly, the company will introduce the Realme Watch 3 Pro and the Realme Buds Air 3S, which it has already released in other markets like India.

The OPPO Reno9 Pro Plus (or Pro+) has launched with aims to become the most premium Android smartphone of its line thus far. Furthermore, even its base model boasts 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

DJI has introduced yet another Mavic 3 series drone. The Mavic 3M is the antithesis of the Mavic 3 Classic, with DJI adding more cameras this time around. DJI has equipped the Mavic 3M with multispectral sensors for measuring the land beneath it mid-flight, among other uses.

Honor has launched the Magic Vs in China, a smartphone that the company claims ‘pushes industry benchmarks’ in not only design and performance, but also in user experience and display quality. Available from today in China for CNY 7,499 (~US$1,050), Honor has teased when the Magic Vs will be coming to markets, too.

Vivo's new X90 and X90 Pro series of premium smartphones has been unveiled with a top-end 1-inch sensor for a main camera, albeit only in the Pro model. The vanilla model has the same new display, ultra-fast charging and new processor as its higher-end siblings, however. It starts for less than US$520 in China.

The Snapdragon 782G is the latest mobile processor to be announced from Qualcomm, although sharp-eyed tech fans will be strongly reminded of some pre-existing platforms on reading its main specs. Then again, the "new" SoC may still bring the best it can to the first smartphone to launch with it, thanks to up-to-date features such as Snapdragon Sound, Bluetooth 5.2 and support for up to 200MP camera sensors.

Vivo has launched the high-end X90 Pro+ smartphone in China. It features a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, a 64 MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 3.5x optical and 100x digital zoom, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and a 4,700 mAh battery. Prices start at CNY 6500 (US$910) in China.

LG has unveiled the 27GR95QE-B, another edition in the UltraGear series. Equipped with a 27-inch OLED panel, the UltraGear 27GR95QE-B combines a 2.5K resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate, as well as AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility, among other features.

Oukitel has announced that the WP21 rugged smartphone will have 2 displays on its launch. Its extra rear-facing screen is a centerpiece for its camera hump, which also houses a 64MP main sensor. The WP21 is powered by one of MediaTek's latest 4G/LTE-only processors and will launch just before Black Friday 2022.

VIOFO asserts that its latest A139 Pro records "real" 4K HDR video, unlike many dash-cams marketed with that spec. It is also equipped with Night Vision 2.0 powered by up-to-date tech from Sony and "upgraded" Wi-Fi, as well as the front, rear and in-cabin view support that ride-sharing customers and drivers in particular may find welcome.

Mobvoi's latest smart treadmill is its first with an incline function. It is rated to reproduce a gradual slope for "more challenging" walking- or running-based work-outs at home. The new piece of gym tech also has a full-color screen that can sync with a user's smartwatch to show metrics such as heart rate. The Home Treadmill incline has a fold-away design and is available to order from now.

The Bigme Galy has reached Kickstarter, where it sells for US$540. Offered with an 8-inch colour E Ink display, the Bigme Galy also runs Android 11 and supports active pen input, among other features.

Realme has unveiled new TWS earbuds as well as Pro versions for the 10 series of Android smartphones today. The Buds Air 3S have wireless audio tech that is profoundly conventional by now - then again, it is packaged in an updated, potentially more ergonomic design with some degree of noise cancellation and Bluetooth 5.3 - all for the equivalent of ~US$28.

Realme has crammed a number of series firsts into the new 10 Pro Plus (or 10 Pro+), including the switch to a curved display at its market tier, which, as the OEM asserts, can help it challenge devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in certain ways. It is also the first Pro+ model to launch with the latest Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 out of the box and new fast charging tech.

The Realme 10 Pro is a new mobile device that has dodged all leaks on its path to its launch today (November 17, 2022) as one of its OEM's first ever smartphones to launch with Android 13 out of the box. Not only that, it has a new "Skyline" display touted as having "1mm" bezels. The 10 Pro starts with relatively generous internal storage specs for ~US$223.
