The Buds Air6 ship with premium active noise cancellation (ANC) and other specs worthy of higher-end TWS earbuds, yet have launched at the equivalent of ~$40 in a new market. They are joined by a new, more affordable version of wireless neckbuds with the same level of IP-certified ingress protection and Bluetooth 5.4.

Realme has launched new audio accessories alongside the GT 6T, a new version of the GT Neo6 SE for the Indian market today (May 22, 2024). However, all 3 new products have different release dates: for example, the Buds Air6 go live on May 27, or 2 days before the new smartphone.

India's new neckbuds, on the other hand, go on sale from tomorrow (May 23). They are Neo versions of the Buds Wireless 3 already available on Amazon.in; however, the former will be cheaper at INR 1,199 (~$14) by dropping the ANC of their slightly older siblings.

Nevertheless, the Wireless 3 Neo are touted to get up to 32 hours per charge - and have Bluetooth 5.4, whereas the Buds Air6 remain on the older 5.3 standard despite having class-leading 50dB ANC, support for the LHDC 5.0 codec and even more estimated battery life at up to 40 hours.

Then again, the 3 Neos have the same IP55 rating, not to mention an exclusive new Aqua Blue color. The Buds Air6, on the other hand, come in vaguely GT 6T-matching Forest Green or Flame Silver options. They will be priced at INR 3,299 (~$40) from their release.
