One-Netbook has provided more details for its next gaming handheld. The ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini will mirror the Lenovo Legion Go with an 8.8-inch and 144 Hz display, albeit with a user replaceable SSD and an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U SSD.

Only a few days have passed since One-Netbook lifted the lid on the ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini, a new gaming handheld that it debuted alongside a refreshed version of its bigger sibling. Surprisingly, the company has since de-listed its X1 Mini Indiegogo campaign page, which briefly went live on May 20. Nonetheless, One-Netbook has now published a second teaser, which we have embedded below.

On the one hand, the video shows how easy it is to swap SSDs, a feature that typically escapes gaming handhelds unless you are willing to remove their shells. Additionally, it appears that the ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini will support M.2 2230 SSDs, just like the new Microsoft Surface Pro (curr. $999.99 on Amazon). Moreover, One-Netbook shows 1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB SSDs, labelled 'WORK', 'GAME' and 'MOVIE', respectively. However, it is unclear whether One-Netbook actually intends to offer the device with such high-capacity SSDs.

On the other hand, the video also highlights that the ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini supports Windows Hello facial recognition and gyroscope controls. Furthermore, the gaming handheld features an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U APU, plus a 65 Wh battery and an 8.8-inch display that delivers a 144 Hz refresh rate just like the Lenovo Legion Go. Currently, One-Netbook expects to open ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini pre-orders in June, with rumours suggesting a June 6 release date.
