TeamGroup presents robust and lightweight PD20 Mini SSD with 16 Gbit/s
With the PD20 Mini, TeamGroup offers a direct competitor to the Samsung T9 (approx. $110 on Amazon), which weighs just 22 grams and is a remarkable 82 percent lighter than its Samsung counterpart. With dimensions of 75 x 34 x 8.2 millimeters, the SSD is also much more compact. Nevertheless, the housing is IP54-certified and, therefore, protected against dust and water splashes.
The case has an opening that allows the SSD to be easily attached to bags or a key ring. The USB-C port on the back is protected from water by a rubber flap. The connection to the computer is made via USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2, which allows the SSD to achieve a sequential read speed of 2,000 MB/s, regardless of capacity.
