Earlier today, One-Netbook announced plans to refresh the ONEXPLAYER X1 with an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U APU, having previously offered the device with Intel Meteor Lake-H processors. Almost simultaneously, the company teased the release of the ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini, during which it hinted that this device would also utilise AMD rather than Intel silicon.
Now, One-Netbook has quietly listed the ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini on Indiegogo ahead of the device's global launch. Somewhat surprisingly, it has shared numerous device specifications and product images, which we have embedded below. In short, the following ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini specifications are now for now:
- AMD Ryzen 7 8840U APU
- 8.8-inch display, 144 Hz refresh rate
- 65 Wh battery
For context, those display specifications match the Lenovo Legion Go (curr. $629.99 on Amazon), which we reviewed earlier this year. Likewise, the ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini will feature detachable controllers. One-Netbook has sought to improve upon the original ONEXPLAYER X1 in some areas though, such as the inclusion of a swappable SSD.
Moreover, the ONEXPLAYER X1 Mini will retain the 65 Wh battery capacity that One-Netbook offers in the ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro and ONEXPLAYER X1. Unfortunately, a launch date remains unknown, as does early bird pricing. However, you can sign up to receive more details when One-Netbook releases them on Indiegogo.
