Realme has managed to take even legendary tipster Digital Chat Station by surprise with a stealth launch for the GT Neo6. It joins the Redmi Turbo 3 and iQOO Z9 Turbo in boasting the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 platform as rumored. Then again, the smartphone outdoes its new counterparts in one potentially important respect - as also predicted.
Realme has now confirmed that the new smartphone beats both its new rivals with triple-figure wattage in terms of wired charging. It is, in fact, even faster than the Neo6 SE at 120W. The OEM has yet to reveal its battery size, although it is believed to join its SE counterpart in having 5,500mAh of rated capacity.
The OEM also seeks to drive its latest GT Neo-series flagship's reservations on JD.com (at a price to be determined later) by hyping its ability to support 1TB of internal storage, a spec thought to be paired with 16GB of RAM. It may or may not have a flat display to go with all that potential power.
On that note, the Neo6 is also now projected to hit the Indian market soon with the same specs (120W charging included) as the GT 6 for the global market.
