New PocketBook InkPad Eo e-book with color touchscreen, Android and stylus now available
The PocketBook InkPad Eo is now officially available. The e-note and e-reader device comes with a stylus and color touch display, which can be used not only to read e-books but also to take notes.
PocketBook has launched a new e-note and e-reading device, the PocketBook InkPad Eo, which was announced a few weeks ago. It is now available and can be ordered directly from the manufacturer at a price of $599.99 in the colors Mist Grey or Sunset.
The new PocketBook InkPad Eo is not merely an e-book reader, as there are many on the market, but also an e-note device. This means that it can be used for taking notes. Thanks to the Wacom touchscreen and the included stylus, notes can be written down quickly and easily, e.g., at work, at university or in your free time. The notes can then be conveniently saved in PDF or PNG format or forwarded by email. Transferring files to other devices is also possible via WiFi sharing.
The PocketBook InkPad Eo is equipped with a 10.3-inch color screen with E Ink Kaleido 3 technology, which can display 4,096 colors and has a resolution of 1860 x 2480 in black and white, and 930 x 1,240 pixels in color. The integrated SmartLight can be adjusted in terms of light color and brightness.
In addition to an octa-core processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB expandable memory, the PocketBook InkPad Eo comes with Android 11 as the operating system, which enables the installation of apps. Last but not least, there is also a camera, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi and a USB-C port.
I have been fascinated by technology for around 25 years – especially technology that makes life easier rather than more complicated. Mobile devices such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches are particularly close to my heart as is the booming subject of smart homes. I have been working in these areas for several years now as a news and reviews editor. I have been active with various websites, including the smart home blogs homee, Nuki, and siio, as well as tech portals such as Giga and TechRadar. I have been writing news and laptop reviews for Notebookcheck since 2020.

Growing up in regional Australia, I first became acquainted with computers in my early teens after a broken leg from a football (soccer) match temporarily condemned me to a predominately indoor lifestyle. Soon afterwards I was building my own systems. Now I live in Germany, having moved here in 2014, where I study philosophy and anthropology. I am particularly fascinated by how computer technology has fundamentally and dramatically reshaped human culture, and how it continues to do so.
