Redmi has affirmed that it will launch its first "gaming phone" in 2021 - perhaps even this month, should the latest rumors prove true. As if to give this idea more weight, a device with its alleged model number is now approved for sale by the Chinese regulator 3C. Its new certificate also suggests it might launch with the same charging tech as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra flagship.

OnePlus released the US$159 OnePlus Watch a while ago. Sadly, though, the watch looks set to be a colossal flop, with reviews consistently panning it for its inability to be good at being, well, a smartwatch at the very least.

Leaked schematics and CADs of the forthcoming iPhone 13 have revealed a larger rear camera array. This contradicts at least one recent report, but would align the expected camera improvements expected come with Apple’s next-generation iPhone.

Motorola will launch the Moto G60 soon. This phone is the OEM's 108MP mid-ranger for 2021 that will come with the Snapdragon 732G processor and a 120Hz screen. According to its latest tip, these specs will be joined by 6GB of RAM - or 4GB in the G40 Fusion. This secondary variant has a 64MP main sensor instead, but will be very similar to the G60 otherwise.

AMD's upcoming Van Gogh APU with a Zen 2 CPU and RDNA2 iGPU will likely be positioned as a viable alternative to Tiger Lake-UP4 while offering support for LPDDR5 memory. Van Gogh could make for good test bed for AMD to test out RDNA2 iGPU implementation for upcoming APUs including Dragon Crest, Rembrandt, and probably even Raphael.

Multiple ASUS ZenFone 8 Mini variants just showed up on Geekbench running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The top-of-the-line model has 16GB of RAM, while the scaled-down versions make do with 12GB and 8GB.

TCL has launched new smartphones at its latest press conference. They include the 20 Pro 5G, which offers this brand's NXTVISION 2.0 screen optimizations and the Snapdragon 750G processor. However, the 20 L and 20 L+ also have an interesting new feature to introduce: a new TÜV Rheinland-certified polarizing treatment designed to make their displays easier to use while wearing sunglasses.

We may still be two months from the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite's release, but Evan Blass has delivered several marketing renders. Shown in Mystic Black, the 12.4-inch tablet is expected to launch with a Snapdragon 750G, 5G connectivity and S Pen support.

The latest version of the Parallels Desktop VM manager is optimized for the new M1-powered MacBooks and allows users to run virtualized Windows 10 at native speeds. Nvidia is reportedly working on a new GeForce RTX 3060 variant with enhanced anti-crypto protections. It will use a new GA106-302 GPU which will require completely new drivers. The new RTX 3060 variant is expected to hit shelves in May 2021.

Sony has released a new update for the PlayStation 5, its ninth-generation games console. The latest update is a big one and contains numerous fixes and improvements. Some of these include the ability to game at 1080p and 120 Hz, extended HDMI-CEC support and the option of disabling HDR, among others.

An alleged Geekbench record for the just-launched Sony Xperia 1 III has been shared on Reddit, showing the flagship smartphone surpassing the Samsung Galaxy S21 devices in both single-core and multi-core disciplines. The Xperia 1 III with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC completely overwhelms the Xperia 1 II with SD865.

The manufacturer still hasn't revealed how much it will cost, but it promises coupon codes and a free carrying bag for early bird buyers.

At a current price of about 89 Euros (~$106), it's almost impossible to find anything cheaper than the Redmi 9AT. However, Xiaomi cuts some corners in its entry-level phone in order to push the price below 100 Euros (~$119). Our review of the Redmi smartphone also reveals some unexpected differences compared with the Redmi 9A.

Amazon has announced its Echo Buds (2nd gen). The company claims to have addressed multiple issues customers had with their predecessors: they are now rated for better audio quality, active noise cancellation and fit in the ear. They are not available for purchase yet, though, but can be ordered in May 2021.

The Redmi Note 10 series is now available in India - on the other hand, it is missing its vanilla 5G variant. According to famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the 2022 iPhone line will include massive 48-megapixel sensors and will be able to record 8K video. Kuo also claims that Apple will kill off the Mini model that has so far struggled to sell.

Apple has been making misleading claims about the Pro Display XDR, according to The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) in the UK. Now, Apple can no longer claim that the Pro Display XDR offers 'far beyond HDR' in the UK, although it continues to do so in the US and other countries. The same goes for the company implying that the display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

Gigabyte has released a trio of AORUS gaming monitors, the AORUS FI32U, AORUS FV43U and the AORUS FO48U. All are 4K monitors with HDMI 2.1 ports, but only the flagship 48-inch model has an OLED panel. The three monitors should deliver excellent colour accuracy though, and can output at up to 144 Hz in most cases.
