The GMKtec EVO-X2 is now official in China, and it's available only in one configuration, which pairs the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with 128 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage. Its launch price is CNY 14,999, around $2,060.

Aokzoe has confirmed that it will soon be releasing its first Ryzen AI 9 HX 370-powered gaming handheld. Launching with a 72.7 Wh battery and a 120 Hz display, the Aokzoe A1X also supports OCuLink and USB4 connectivity for a choice of eGPU options.

Another Ryzen 9 9950X3D joins the long line of dead Ryzen 9000 series CPUs that have been reported. The most common factor has been ASRock motherboards, though they are not the only ones allegedly ‘killing’ CPUs.

AMD's Strix Halo has finally landed on the mini PC segment, and as revealed earlier this week, GMKtec happens to be the first to unveil one with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395. Of course, the company didn't disclose much about the system yet.

Lenovo is introducing an upgraded Yoga Slim 7 at MWC 2025. GMKtec has joined Asus, Framework and HP in announcing a device powered by AMD's new Strix Halo processor family. The GMKtec EVO-X2 will be available with a choice of Ryzen AI Max+ 395 or Ryzen AI Max+ 395 Pro APUs, both within a conventional mini-PC form factor.

Early leaked benchmarks of the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D reveal that the new 3D V-Cache Zen 5 CPU is significantly faster than its predecessor in gaming tasks. AMD has announced that it will join Framework at the upcoming February 25 Framework 2nd Gen hardware launch event. A Weibo leaker has given us a rough idea about when you can buy AMD's high-end Ryzen 9 9950X3D desktop CPUs. Intel's Arrow Lake-HX laptop SKUs are also expected to hit shelves at around the same time.

AMD's remaining high-end Zen 5 CPUs, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X3D, have shown up on Geekbench. Their performance gain is in line with other Zen 5 parts.
