Aoostar launches Nex395 mini PC with top-end AMD Strix Halo APU and 128 GB RAM

Aoostar has finally released the Nex395, an AMD Strix Halo mini PC that was first teased in early July 2025. Of course, the retail unit didn't turn out as it was initially showcased. Just recently, the company announced that there would be a design change, and now, the system has finally launched in China.

As previously announced, the mini PC comes with 128 GB of RAM, and the main highlight is that it's 8,533 MT/s LPDDR5X memory, which is touted to allow the Nex395 to handle most AI models smoothly.

Speaking of which, the Aoostar Nex is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, which brings the Radeon 8060S iGPU. This is the current most powerful integrated GPU from AMD, and as we found in our analysis, it can deliver a similar level of performance as the Nvidia RTX 4070 Laptop.

Regarding storage, the mini PC features three M.2 slots that can be equipped with PCIe 4.0 SSDs (2 TB Samsung 990 Pro curr. $189.99 on Amazon). Aoostar further highlights the "Glacier VC" cooling setup of the Nex395, which promises stable performance under heavy loads. There's a rich selection of connectivity ports as well. To be specific, the system has the following:

Aoostar also highlights the small form factor of the mini PC, 140 W performance mode, and it's said to be easy to disassemble. Price-wise, there appears to be only one configuration available, which comes with 2 TB of storage, and it costs CNY 14,999 in China, around $2,121. The Nex395 is expected to see a global release, but Aoostar hasn't shared any details yet.
