In everyday use, the AI X1 proves to be a responsive system that starts programs quickly and hardly breaks a sweat when using several applications in parallel. Although the integrated graphics do not reach the level of dedicated GPUs, the performance offered should be completely sufficient for many users. In combination with a dedicated graphics card via OCuLink, the 3D performance can be noticeably increased, as our test also shows. Minisforum itself offers an external solution in the form of the DEG1 ($99 at Amazon), which works perfectly.
With the AI X1, Minisforum delivers a versatile mini PC that packs modern technology into a small case and impresses above all with its efficiency, features, and practical performance. In addition, the mini PC does not have any serious flaws and also impresses with its pricing.
