One-netbook has started selling an Intel Pentium Gold 8505-powered version of the ONEXPLAYER mini. Sold with a 1200p display and in two colours, the ONEXPLAYER mini also has 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 512 GB of storage and a 48 Wh battery, among other features.

One-netbook has shared details about the ONEXPLAYER 2, a gaming handheld that takes the form factor of the original ONEXPLAYER and crosses it with a Nintendo Switch. To be available with the AMD Ryzen 7 6800U and an equivalent Intel Alder Lake processor, the ONEXPLAYER 2 will also contain a larger battery than many ultrabooks.

Other than the previously leaked i9-13900HX and i7-13700HX, the upcoming Raptor Lake-HX mobile processor lineup would also include the i7-13650HX as well as the i5-13500HX and i5-13450HX. Apparently, only the i9 and i5 models bring meaningful upgrades compared to the existing Alder Lake-HX models, and DDR5-5600 support is reserved for the higher end models.

According to the latest report from Moore’s Law Is Dead, the company is preparing the 14th gen Meteor Lake to improve upon the performance of the Raptor Lake CPUs while also being more power efficient. Furthermore, the 15th gen Arrow Lake could come with an even bigger leap in horsepower compared to Meteor Lake.

Chuwi has launched a new version of the CoreBox, now described as CoreBox 4th. Not only has Chuwi upgraded the mini-PC to Intel's Alder Lake architecture, but it has also introduced LPDDR5 RAM for the CoreBox, as well as support for external graphics card enclosures thanks to Thunderbolt 4 connectivity.

Framework announced today that its standard and Chromebook Edition laptops are now Thunderbolt 4 certified. This means that the notebooks can now officially support all Thunderbolt 4-certified peripherals, meaning that there should be fewer issues when connecting these devices.

ASUS has started selling the Zenbook 17 Fold in Europe and the US. Equipped with a 17.3-inch foldable display, the device also contains the Core i7-1250U, 16 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD and a 75 Wh battery. Using a laptop with a foldable display does not come cheap, though.

The Intel Core i5-13400 scores 729.3 and 6,591 on CPU-Z's single and multi-threaded benchmark. It features 6 performance cores, 4 efficiency cores, a boost clock of 4.5 GHz and a TDP of 65 Watts.

Huawei has presented the MateStation X 2023, an all-in-one (AIO) desktop powered by the Intel Core i9-12900H. Arriving with 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage, the MateStation X 2023 also has a 28.2-inch display and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity.

The Thunderbolt 4 connector shows its age as it gets tested with an external RTX 4090 GPU. This was not immediately apparent with previous GPU generations, but the RTX 4000 bandwidth capacities clearly give TB4 a hard time. Additionally, it looks like the TB4 implementation on Intel's top-tier mobile CPU is unexpectedly lacking.

Intel launched the 13th gen Raptor Lake processors on September 27 with availability on October 20. According to a new report, Huawei is preparing to update its MateStation X all-in-one desktop. While the company currently offers the Apple iMac competitor with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, it is rumoured to have switched to Intel and the Core i9-12900H for its 2022 refresh.

Xiaomi has confirmed the existence of the Book Air 13, a laptop that will arrive alongside the Redmi Note 12 series, among other devices. While the Book Air 13 is not due for a day or so, Xiaomi and a major retailer have confirmed a few details ahead of time.

Intel’s yet unannounced Raptor Lake-H Core i9-13900HK chip has stopped by Geekbench for valid single-threaded and multi-threaded benchmarks. The CPU has appeared on the testing site once before in a similar setup. The latest Geekbench 5.4 results of the Core i9-13900HK paint the processor as significantly more powerful than the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX and a minor refresh with a noticeable single-core performance bump over the Core i9-12900HK.

GMKtec has introduced the NucBox 8, a 119 x 119 x 24.5 mm mini-PC powered by the Intel Celeron N4100. Available for US$139.59, the GMKtec NucBox 8 also has 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and plenty of I/O.

Intel is planning to release the first batch of Raptor Lake mobile CPUs before 2023 rolls around. Leaker @momomo_us believes that the company is working on at least four Raptor Lake-H mobile SKUs, including two processors that are making their maiden appearance.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X has been unceremoniously dumped outside the top 10 best-performing processors in UserBenchmark’s average bench chart. Extreme overclocker Elmor has successfully pushed an Intel Core i9-13900K CPU to 8.8 GHz on a single core, effectively smashing the AMD FX-8370's record of 8.7 GHz. The test rig used an Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Apex motherboard and 32 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM.

Intel has taken the single-thread spoils in an interesting high-end processor clash on PassMark. The site now has entries for many Raptor Lake and Zen 4 parts, and on the surface it appears that the Intel Core i9-13900KF is the chip to beat. But while the i9-13900KF easily snagged the single-thread crown, the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X still packs multiple benefits.

Intel showed off a prototype of the next generation of its Thunderbolt standard. The as-of-yet-unnamed next-gen Thunderbolt doubles the bandwidth of Thunderbolt 4 while providing bandwidth of up to 120 Gbps for displays. The new Thunderbolt version supports the latest version of USB4 and DisplayPort 2.1.

Besides revealing the advantages of the Intel Arc A770, the AV1 8K decoding test performed through the CapFrameX tool also exposes some unexpected optimization problems with the Nvidia RTX 4090, as well as some perplexingly low scores coming from AMD's RX 6800 XT card.

Prices start at US$999, while pre-orders will begin shipping from October 25 in the US.

Dell has launched a new rugged tablet for use in extreme environments. Key Latitude 7230 Rugged Extreme specs include a 12-inch screen, two hot-swappable 36.5 Wh batteries, Intel Alder Lake processors and two configurable ports.
