ASUS has introduced a new Zenbook S 13 OLED as part of its CES 2024 showcase. This year, the company plans to introduce UX5304 configurations, which it will eventually sell as the UX5304VA and UX5304MA. While pricing and availability remain unknown at this stage, ASUS has at least confirmed full hardware details.
At the heart of every Zenbook S 13 OLED UX5304 sits a 63 Wh (4-cell) battery that supports 65 W charging and powers an OLED display that measures 13.3-inches across. According to ASUS' website, the display outputs at 3K, which actually corresponds to a 2,880 x 1,800 native resolution. Additionally, the display delivers a 60 Hz refresh rate but can reach 50 nits higher in the UX5304MA than the UX5304VA at 600 nits, for which it is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certified.
Moreover, the UX5304 is configurable with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD and an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor. Please note that ASUS limits the UX5304VA to the Core i7-1355U though, as well as LPDDR5 RAM. Nonetheless, all SKUs feature IR webcams with Windows Hello support, a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports plus USB Type-A and HDMI ports, along with Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. Somehow, ASUS has integrated all these components within housings that weigh 1 kg and measure 296.2 x 216.3 x 10.9~11.8 mm. Please see ASUS' website for more details.
