Lenovo has introduced a new version of the Legion Pro 7i, a large gaming laptop that it continues to base around a 16-inch display and Intel hardware. This time, the Legion Pro 7i will be available with a 240 Hz IPS display and the Core i9-14900HX, a member of the Raptor Lake Refresh family.
Specifically, the new Legion Pro 7i comes with a 2,560 x 1,600 display that also provides 500 nits peak brightness, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and 3 ms response times with OverDrive. Lenovo adds that the 16:10 display supports NVIDIA G-SYNC too, as well as TÜV Rheinland and X-Rite Pantone certifications with 100% sRGB colour space coverage. Unsurprisingly, the company has included a beefy battery to power this high-end display, with a 99.99 Wh combined capacity chosen that supports up to 330 W wired charging.
Moreover, Lenovo will offer the Legion Pro 7i with various configuration options up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (175 W) with 32 GB of RAM and a 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. Regardless of the configuration chosen, the new Legion Pro 7i will feature the following ports:

Lenovo hopes to begin selling the Legion Pro 7i Gen 9 from March onwards in both the Eurozone and the US. Currently, the company states that the new gaming laptop will be available for €3,299 in the Eurozone and $2,699 in the US. Unfortunately, it has not confirmed full configuration or pricing details yet.
