MagyarCES 2024 | Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Gen 9 launching later this quarter with 120 Hz OLED display and new Intel Meteor Lake processors
The Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Gen 9 is one of Lenovo's latest high-end Yoga-branded laptops alongside the Yoga Pro 9i, details of which we have covered separately. For reference, the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 joins dozens of updated or new Lenovo devices at CES 2024 in Las Vegas, including those from the company's Legion, ThinkBook and ThinkCentre series. In summary, the new Yoga 9i 2-in-1 combines the following hardware within a 315 x 218 x 15.9 mm and 1.35 kg chassis:
- Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor
- Intel Arc Graphics
- 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM
- Up to 1 TB SSD (PCIe 4.0)
- 75 Wh
Additionally, Lenovo plans to offer the convertible laptop with 2.8K and 4K display options, which both measure 14-inches across. While the pair rely on 16:10 OLED PureSight panels that peak at 400 nits, only the 2.8K option outputs at more than 60 Hz thanks to its 120 Hz variable refresh rate. Separately, Lenovo has equipped all SKUs with quad speakers tuned by Bowers & Wilkins split between two 2W tweeters and two 2W woofers.
Furthermore, the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 integrates a pair of Thunderbolt 4 ports on its left-hand side, as well as a single USB Type-A port. As the photos below show, Lenovo has populated the laptop's right-hand side with a 3.5 mm jack, a power button and a USB Type-C port rather than a third Thunderbolt 4 connection. Also, the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 comes bundled with a Slim Pen and an accompanying sleeve.
The Yoga 9i 2-in-1 will be available first in the Eurozone from March onwards, with US availability slated for a month later. Although Lenovo has not confirmed full pricing yet, the Gen 9 model will start at €1,799 in the Eurozone and $1,449.99 in the US.
