Nvidia could be willing to compensate its AiB partners for repackaging costs following the unlaunch of the RTX 4080 12 GB. It is not fully clear what the cards will be rechristened as, but AiBs are likely to have incurred considerable costs in packaging, shipment, and even labor or BIOS flash expenditure for the unlaunched card.
