BenQ has expanded its Zowie range with a new 24-inch gaming monitor. Seemingly, the Zowie XL2546X Plus will be sold alongside the existing Zowie XL2546X (curr. $429.99 on Amazon), which is almost a year old. For reference, the company also offers the larger Zowie XL2586X globally too.
As for the Zowie XL2546X Plus, it is actually slightly smaller than its non-Plus namesake. Specifically, BenQ has equipped the former with a 24.1-inch panel compared to a 24.5-inch equivalent in the case of the Zowie XL2546X. Setting that aside, the Zowie XL2546X Plus features a TN panel that resolves at 1,920 x 1,080 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Additionally, the display delivers 320 nits peak brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and a 0.28 mm pixel pitch. Moreover, the Zowie XL2546X Plus boasts a 280 Hz refresh rate, which makes it 40 Hz faster than the existing Zowie XL2546X. Furthermore, the new monitor supports BenQ's DyAC 2 technology to minimise image ghosting, just like its predecessor.
Meanwhile, BenQ has included a DisplayPort 1.2 connection, three HDMI 2.0 ports, a 3.5 mm jack and an adjustable stand. Currently, the Zowie XL2546X Plus is available for $499.99 when purchased from BenQ directly. Please see the company's website for more details.
