AOC has expanded its monitor range with a new 27-inch example. For reference, the Q27G4ZDB arrives shortly after AOC began selling the U27G40E and Agon Pro AG276FK. However, the Q27G4ZDB is similar in ethos to the Agon Pro AG276QZD2 (curr. $399.99 on Amazon) that debuted in October.
Specifically, AOC bases the Q27G4ZDB around a QD-OLED panel sourced from Samsung Display. Like the recent Gigabyte MO27Q2, the Q27G4ZDB does not utilise a 360 Hz QD-OLED panel like many alternatives that arrived earlier this year. Instead, the Q27G4ZDB combines a 1440p resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate, which it complements with 0.03 ms GtG response times and Adaptive-Sync support.

As such, the Q27G4ZDB also offers 98% Adobe RGB colour space coverage and 1,000 nits peak HDR brightness (APL 3%). Please note that full panel brightness drops to 450 nits when viewing HDR content though and just 250 nits in SDR mode. Incidentally, the monitor is VESA ClearMR 13000 and DisplayHDR 400 True Black certified too.
Moreover, AOC has included an ergonomic arm that allows the Q27G4ZDB to be swivelled, tilted and pivoted freely with up to 320 mm of height adjustment. Unfortunately, the company has only equipped the monitor with single DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0 and 3.5 mm jack connections. Currently, AOC has not provided any hints as to how much the Q27G4ZDB will cost though, let alone when it will be available outside China.
