AOC has announced the Q27G40SE, a new 27-inch gaming monitor featuring a Fast IPS panel with a QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution and a high 300Hz refresh rate. It includes a 1ms GTG response time and 0.3ms MPRT to minimize motion blur.
The monitor supports HDR10, which should deliver solid contrast and color performance. It covers 99% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color spaces, making it suitable for gaming and media consumption. With a peak brightness of 300 nits and a static contrast ratio of 1500:1, it should maintain clear visuals across different lighting conditions.
AOC has equipped the Q27G40SE with FreeSync technology to reduce screen tearing and MBR-Sync for motion clarity. It also supports PiP (Picture-in-Picture) and PbP (Picture-by-Picture) modes, adding even more flexibility for multitasking.
Connectivity includes a single HDMI 2.1 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a headphone jack. The stand offers only tilt adjustments, but the monitor is VESA-compatible (100 x 100 mm) for alternative mounting options. AOC also integrates flicker-free technology and a blue light filter to reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions.
While the monitor has launched in China, details regarding international availability and pricing are yet to be confirmed.
