LG kicked off the year by releasing the UltraGear 27G850A-B in Japan, which still remains without a global release at the time of writing. Now, the company has given the larger UltraGear OLED 34GX90SA the same treatment on its way to a worldwide launch.
To recap, the UltraGear OLED 34GX90SA was one of several OLED monitors that LG showcased in December before CES 2025. While the company shared more details about the UltraGear OLED 45GX950A in the intervening period, it remained quiet about the UltraGear OLED 34GX90SA.
In the process of releasing the monitor in Japan, LG has also confirmed more key specifications, all of which are a match for the UltraGear OLED 34GS95QE (curr. $849.99 on Amazon). The newer UltraGear OLED 34GX90SA adds DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Type-C (65 W) connectivity though, as well as LG's webOS interface that it advertises for game streaming purposes.
The UltraGear OLED 34GX90SA is currently available for JPY 199,800 (~$1,340) in Japan. However, LG warns that this price is 20% below MSRP. Consequently, the monitor may eventually rise to JPY 249,750, which would be closer to $1,675 at current exchange rates. By contrast, the UltraGear OLED 34GS95QE started at $1,299.99 in the US and JPY 199,800 (~$1,340) in Japan.
