Dell has introduced a new 4K monitor, the Pro 27 Plus. It's designed to enhance productivity and reduce the clutter on desks with a built-in USB-C hub. There are two quick-access ports on the hub: one USB-C and one USB-A. Both of them are rated for 5 Gbps downstream transfers.
Besides the hub, there is a decent selection of connectivity ports on the back. That includes one HDMI, one Display Port 1.4, one 1 GbE Ethernet, and three 5 Gbps USB-A downstream ports. To further declutter the workspace, Dell has integrated a riser into the base of the monitor. It's there to hide cables from sight and offer a clean look.
As for the display itself, it's an IPS panel with a 100 Hz refresh rate and 99% sRGB coverage, which makes it ideal for professional work. The company claims to have integrated multiple technologies to enhance the viewing experience. Among them is ComfortView Plus, which aims to reduce blue light emissions.
Dell has integrated a good number of adjustability features into the Pro 27 Plus as well. You can tilt, swivel, pivot, and adjust the height of the monitor according to your preference.
Other than that, the Pro 27 Plus has something that the company calls Dell Display and Peripheral Manager. It can automate the brightness and contrast settings, arrange windows in pre-set partitions, and do more to enhance productivity. There's no word on the price and availability yet, but if you want to learn more about the monitor, check out the complete specs attached below.
