Dell has announced the launch of its new Pro Max series, which, along with laptops, also features three new desktop models - the Pro Max Tower T2, Pro Max Slim, and Pro Max Micro. These desktop models are aimed at professionals who need AI-powered, reliable, and sustainable computing solutions.
To start with, the Pro Max Tower T2 is the flagship model that promises powerful performance with the new Intel Core Ultra processors and support for up to 125W CPUs. The PC comes with up to 128GB DDR5 memory, 24TB of storage, and Nvidia RTX 6000 Ada graphics - all of which tell you that this desktop is built for demanding workloads. Further, it has a 32L chassis, which provides ample expandability, making it suitable for professionals who prioritise power over space efficiency.
For those with limited space, the Pro Max Slim is a compact yet powerful solution. It supports up to 128GB DDR5 memory and 10TB of SSD storage, with optional Nvidia RTX 4000 SFF Ada graphics. Despite its smaller form, the Pro Max Slim doesn’t compromise on performance.
Next in the lineup, we have the Pro Max Micro, which has the smallest profile in this series. Even with a tiny form factor, it supports up to 64GB DDR5 memory and 8TB of SSD storage, making it suitable for small offices or remote work setups. Plus, it comes with multiple mounting options, including wall and under-desk mounts, to give your setup flexibility.
All three models feature Intel Core Ultra processors with dedicated NPUs, so users can get fast, AI-powered performance. They also come with advanced security features, including SafeID and Secured Component Verification, to mitigate cyber threats.
Along with this, Dell has also focused on sustainability, with each model incorporating post-consumer recycled plastics and ocean-bound plastics. The company’s commitment to eco-friendly design is evident across the Pro Max series. Dell’s new desktops are expected to roll out soon, but there has been no official word about prices so far.
