LG has released a new 4K UltraGear gaming monitor in the US. Sold as the UltraGear 32G810SA, the monitor already costs $500 less than advertised on Amazon.

LG has launched a new monitor 32-inch gaming monitor for those who are not looking for OLED options. Like many recent UltraGear OLED gaming monitors, the UltraGear 32G810SA can also serve as a TV replacement thanks to its integrated webOS interface. Found across its Smart TV lineup, webOS provides access to dozens of apps, including popular game and content streaming services.

LG advertises the UltraGear 32G810SA as featuring a 31.5-inch panel based on In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology that resolves natively at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels (4K). The panel also offers a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms GtG response times and compatibility with AMD's FreeSync and Nvidia's G-Sync variable refresh rate technologies.

On top of that, the UltraGear 32G810SA boasts 400 nits peak brightness and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, plus ports like Ethernet and USB Type-C with 65 W Power Delivery. Pricing is arguably the only confusing element of LG's latest IPS gaming monitor. On its website, the company charges $1,299.99 with no way of ordering the monitor directly. A trip to Amazon reveals that the same monitor can actually be picked up for a mere $799.99. Please see LG's website for more technical details.
